Hello there - I would liek to know more detaisl about banksman / slinger course in general. dunno why but online searchengines gives either false or old info. so I thought maybe you coudl tell me simple thing.
Im planning to attend indoor slinger / banksman course ( as for the start) and I was wondering wether the construction sites would aprove indoor certificate?

Try local plant hire companies or crane hire companies, alot of these now offer training etc.

As far as i'm aware i don't think it makes any difference if your inside or outside. I don't think they do different courses for inside or outside. Your Certificate if you pass will just show Slinger/Banksman

The only thing you need to think about is what category they will be issuing. As a CPCS tester my self they have different categories, for example: - A40A– All Types – all duties
- A40B– All Types – Static duties
- A40C– Knuckle boom static only
- A40D– Excavator only
- A40E– Lift truck only
Which would they limit what you can undertake.
