Hi all, can any clarify if driver CPC content for 1st aid gives an equivalent level of training to the 1 day FAW course? I'll be ringing round providers tomorrow but thought someone on here may help as well. Thanks in advance

First Aid at Work is a three-day course - do you mean Emergency First Aid which is typically a one day course?

Just giving this a bump, any experience of the CPC content and reply to my original comment welcome. Thank you for the observation btw Kate - If you can provide any relevant detail it would be great

I think this content depends on which provider you use, and their assessment process. Best to check with them.

Hi, Emergency First Aid at Work is a Level 2 award qualification (EFAW) 1 day First Aid at work is a level 3 award qualification (FAW) 3 day Each qualification has its own minimum guided learning hours (GLH) that must be meet in order to complete the qualification. Also each qualification has mandatory units & assessment process incorporated in the delivery plan that must be meet in order to achieve a pass for the learner. I highly doubt that CPC will cover these topics at the same level as an FAW/EFAW course will. Hope this helps, If you require any additional info then I can PM you as I am a recognised first aid trainer.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. The CPC course is exactly the same as the 1 day first aid course. I can't imagine this changing from supplier to supplier but always best to check. Thanks again
