The UK successfully upheld the right and principles of reasonable practicability applicable to UK H&S and other law. Whilst there are a great many areas of 'specificity' across EU Regulations, these tend to be associated with quality assurance and consumer protection - surely not a bad thing and far better than the uncertainty and potential free-for-all in imported goods that may soon be our lot?
