Afternoon, I've been asked to review how we ensure good governance of all our safety related activities. One particular concern is the interface between H&S in the UK and security for our people oveseas, though we're also looking at psycho-social support and patient safety. Currently we have at least four functions with at least three lines to the board; I don't see this as a problem myself, but our CEO is looking at whether a degree of integration might help. So, if anybody knows how other big NGOs (Oxfam, Save the Children, International Rescue, Salvation Army etc) manage this I would be grateful for the information. I've approached some of the other organisations directly, but I've only been able to get through to receptionists and support help-lines, and they're not set up to deal with this sort of query, so while I wait for any info directly I thought I'd try this approach,
