Recently a worker stepped on to a nail which pierced through safety boot sole into their foot .  After investigation with safety boot distributor , it transpired that not all Safety Boots EN 20345:2011 are fitted with anti puncture soles . How can (none destructive ) checks be carried out on Workers Safety Boots to ascertain anti punture soles are fitted .

Many thanks

Yes it will be marked, should have a ā€œ-Pā€  so SB-P, S1-P, S2-P  or S3 or S5

Search for safety boot markings and it lists all possible codes
