Good Morning All,

I hope one of you can help me with this one. I am considering applying for a job as a Health & Safety Business Partner, but I am unsure as to what the differences, if any, would be to being employed, for example, as a H&S Manager. the job description makes no mention of any other type of commitment and appears to be almsot exactly the same as other H&S Manager role descriptions I have seen

Thanks very much in anticipation of all your responses

The term Business Partner is copied over from HR where it has become fashionable, but the concept is the familiar one that the job is not to manage health and safety yourself, but to help managers to manage it.

Good luck.
