Hi all. I am looking to recruit for a health and safety Manager for my company. I have contacted a couple of recruitment companies however have not been that impressed. Can anyone recommend any good health and safety recruiters?

Suggest you look on the iosh magazine pages you will see a recruitment section with postings by the major known providers. Other publications such as SHP (online) are available.

Michael Page are a good recruiter for Health & Safety professionals, they have national offices and specialise in health and safety.  

I was recruited through the Leeds office in my current role.

Hi Simon,

I've found that the HSE Recruitment Network have been excellent for me over a number of years in terms of looking for work, paradoxically even though they've not found me a role! Hays have been OK too.

A stand-out individual is Jack Cornick at Allen & York, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to recruit for a role.

Yeah, I'd have to totally agree........some are even worse!

But genuinely, I've had good experiences with the ones I mention, especially Jack. Credit where credit is due.
