Has anybody done the study programme for an MSC in a safety related discipline? Ive just completed my Diploma and im thinking of further studies. As i feel that i am in the study mood so would like to hear as to whats out there

Next month I start a MSc in Occuptaional Health, Safety and Environmental Management with University of Hull. Hull uni also offer just Health and Safety MSc/MRse courses

Completing a M Sc can be a valuable path of professional and personal development provided you recognise it as an avenue to a reasonably well-defined career goal. The goal may be in academic or commercial environents, but it is advisable to have it clearly in your mind before you sign your application and atart paying fees.
Without such a clear goal, a MSc can become a tedious timefiller.
A MSc in Ergonomics, eg. at the University of Derby, can be a steppping stone to profesional membership of both the IOSH and the CIEHF, once you also have the qppropriate practical experinece. It worked well for me and, twenty-one years on from the M Sc, the M Sc Director of Studies was content to support my application for a doctorate.
