Guys, I'm talking construction here- barn coversions, extensions etc.
I've tried to persuade my director to use crash deck solutions such as TRAD and Rhino for the installation of joists and trusses but he's simply not interested especially on jobs that precede my employment with the company which were already priced up which is understandable. We have a small supply of fall bags which seem to be more favourable, but woefully short for the amount of work on and he's reluctant to buy more due to storage issues and potential quiet periods.
What might work though is the implemenation of birdcage scaffold as the scaffolding company director is a close personal friend of his and it's simple to order and I'm a competent scaffold inspector. The only isssue here is the call off for the installation and take down of the birdcage which could be as much as a week as obviously only competent, qualified scaffolders can carry such works out which could completely throw my case off. Crash deck solutions including birdcage platforms do potentially speed up the process of joist and trusses but I need quantative proof of this to back up my business case. Does anyone have any facts or figures, or other pro's that could work in my favour when I come up with an official proposal?
Cheers
