I am starting to look at our global sales driver safety programs to develop the corporate program and expectations. The initial focus will be on our leased cars fleet in over 36 countries.

My thought was to make a simple fairly high level survey of our fleet managers looking into:  local driver safety policy, recruitment and risk categorisation, induction training and retraining process, incident review and reporting process as well as management commitment and metric reporting.

I was wondering if anyone had a simple GAP tool they have used themselves when looking into their own driving safety programs that could be shared.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations of pitfalls when working to get a global overview that would be great.

Thanks for any help or advice given.
