Good Afternoon,

Can anyone tell me if there should be an inspection regime for rockface stabilisation mesh?

We will be starting on a new site soon, which is below a cliff face which has been fitted with stabilisation mesh. Before we start on site I would like to be sure that the mesh is in good condition and doing what it is supposed to do. I would also like to ensure that the mesh is being inspected by a competent person as and when it is suppsoed to be, if indeed it is supposed to be

Thank you all for your help and advice

Thanks for that Jay. It is an interesting document on the various methods of stabilising rock faces, unfortunately it doesn't go into the monitoring / inspection of the different techniques
