Hi all i am currently reviewing Health and Safety records and how long we need to retain. Statutory records like COSHH, RIDDOR are pretty straight foward, but other arent the legislation isnt really prescriptive.  I wondered what other business policy was? ie general rule of thumb for risk assessments, safe system of works, safety audits, committee meeting notes? do you retain for the 3 years from point of creation and(or) incident to align with the Limitations Act? or is it more reasonable to retain for 5 years?  Thank you
