Hi,
Im looking to find specific statistics regarding to new/inexperienced workers involved in accidents compared to experienced workers. By inexperienced I'm talking about any of the following three measures - e.g. Time working for the employer. Time working at a particular workplace and time working in a particular position. Not necessarily age of the persons involved.
Any pointers to sources of recent stats would be greatly appreciated. I've spent considerable time on the HSE site and whilst there is a great deal of human factors info there doesnt appear to be any specific statistics.
Many thanks in advance. Have a great weekend!

Quite a niche statistic to try and measure/record hence why you've struggled to find much data. The article below references research done in Canada by the IWH which did look at length of service/experience and accident trends.
