If a member of staff is supplied a first aid kit for their own personal use whilst at work, what (if any) first aid training would they need?

Hi, I would say that if it was only for their personal use then training would be for the awareness of what is being supplied in the first aid box and that they know how to use the items. Though is this because they are working away from a trained first aider in the workplace? A driver perhaps?

Assuming this kit is for their own use, then the answer is none. Any one can buy a First aid kit, you do not need to be trained to use one.
Perhaps the question should be why are they providing their own fist aid kit? Do they have specific needs that are not met by the firms first aid policy or is this simply someone who likes to know they are fully prepared for any eventuality.

if the employee is wanting a FA kit for their lersonal use then it is ot tbe companys role to provide one. if it is for company use then you should supy it.
if you supply it then it is your equipment and you will be responsible for ensuring it is fully stocked.
as perviously asked why do they need a personal FA kit?
