Hi there, i am after confirmation on lifting plan requirements for the lifting of freight containers using 360 excavators and 17 meter forklift trucks.

Is an appointed person required to write a complex lift plan due to the bulk size of the items to be lifted (visual obstructions, etc)

or will a 'common schedule of lifts' suffice under the lifting equipment operators own supervision?

Many thanks.

Sorry when I first read this I thought the poster was looking for advice on a lifting plan or lifting of a freight container using a total of 360 excavators and 17, 1 metre high  forklift trucks!

Then I read it again!

Sorry it’s Monday…
