I have just been advised that the law has changed on the carraige of animals in vehicles. Apparently they now have to be restrained, failure to complay can lead to a 9 point penalty. Can any one give a me a steer towards relaibel information on this?

May have big implications here in Somerset.

Do you mean commercial transportation of animals or do mean animals in domestic vehicles like dogs and cats?

It has always been a legal requirement for cats to be contained within a suitable pet carrier.
