A quick question...

I'm aware that general air monitoring records for arborne asbestos should be kept for at least 5 years. What about air monitoring records following potential employee personal exposure? Should these be kept for 40 years?

Similarly, if an employee is potentially exposed to asbestos and this  incident is recorded by the employer, how many years should this be retained? 40 years?

I think you are correct - at least that is what I am doing with some historical records from this site, in fact once we have identified all the records and picked them out of the old archive I plan to put them in protective covers in a fire proof safe.
