Good morning

Hope someone may be able to help - there was recent small fire in a skip which damaged and asbestos roof. The building next door was filled with smoke but fire didnt penetrate. What is the likelihood of asbestos being released into the building?

not sure this really answerd your question as you would have to do a dispersion study and see how that flowed into the factory...I can only point you to a case in 1999 of a factory fire and and the health impacts...it is possible...but maybe this will help you investigate further...I dealt with a case in Ireland a few years ago when an Acetylene cylinder exploded and the Fire Service were worried about the asbestos plug that has been vapourised in the explosion...
