Hi, I just wondered if anyone has experience of what the differences are between the H&S legislation for the UK and Sweden in what is needed for an office? I am being told by Swedish colleagues that they don't have fire marshals but that doesn't sit well with me

I worked a while in Finland and don't recall 'fire marshalls' as such, but some of the various managers had roles that were similar to what the UK role might expect.  And et their had much more stringent and legally framed tasks for things like hot works.   Just be aware that some things may be lost in translatiom and work styles.
