Here’s a pet peeve which has been annoying me all day: why do manufacturers always (or almost always) put the plate with the details of the equipment at the back of the machine, where you can’t access it without moving the equipment rather than the front? Does it ruin the branding  of the equipment? Do they want make it difficult for you when you tell them it’s not working: ”we can only send out an engineer to fix it if you tell use the exact model and serial number. Thank You”.

I concur, although we have all ours photographed and filed so that we can find them easier, one of the first things I did when I got here, after previous experiences.
