Posted By Zyggy Turek Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced fire safety professional to join the Health & Safety Unit. As this is a new post, there is a great opportunity to influence fire safety in the many diverse areas of the Council. The successful person will provide advice on fire safety matters and assist managers to ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation, in particular, the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regs. 1997, as amended 1999. Experience in Fire Prevention enforcement is an essential requirement coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
