To those holding the Gen. Cert. and still seeking a break into the H&S world, perseverance is the key.

I have been wading through treacle getting nowhere fast for what seems an eternity, yet I have just been taken on by a rather large company as Group Manager (Health, Safety and Quality Systems).

Pay, conditions etc are good and I feel I can now commence my career proper, so I say keep going forward and dont lose sight of what you want.... it's out there waiting for you.
