Posted By John Mackessack Tim, As long as you have the bit of expensive paper and the letters after your name, that's all that counts generally. I've certainly never been asked my grades. (With regards HR depts, 'employment' agencies etc, most of them don't understand the qualification structures or the effort that goes into passing them anyway!)

Posted By Mark Talbot I agree with Jim. I look at the CV sorting stage, but even then I wouldn't throw out a pass of any grade. Trust me though, the work that you put into your grade WILL make a difference to your ability and confidence. The high grades go to those who know their stuff. Now that WILL show up in the interview. Work now, cruise later - doesn't work as well the other way around.

Posted By Steve Garnett Tim, I have never been asked what grade to you obtained. I would agree with the other comments that the more you put in the more you get out. I attended an interview recently and apart from the asking the obvious questions relating to qualifications, the majority related to on the job experience
