HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY MANAGER

Seacore Limited is a privately owned, international marine drilling and construction company with a multi million pound turnover. The company was established over 25 years ago and has been at the leading edge of technology driven solutions to marine drilling & offshore construction challenges and is also at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
Seacore is a project lead company and conducts its operations on a world wide basis for a variety of clients from local contractors to super major oil& gas operators.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will have responsibility for the continued development, implementation and updating of all aspects of safety, quality and environmental protection. This is very much a hands on role and you will be expected to provide support, advice and guidance at all levels from senior management to the workforce, both at Seacore’s base at Gweek, Helston and at the many sites the company operates worldwide.
Willingness to travel is therefore an essential part of the job.

You must have an extensive background as a HSEQ professional preferably gained within the engineering/marine drilling/marine construction & offshore industry, coupled with strong communication and influencing skills, plus established experience in delivering the H&S expectations of these industries – particularly in the offshore sector.
We would expect all applicants to hold the relevant professional qualifications and be a corporate member of the Institute of Safety and Occupational Health (MIOSH).

Seacore is an equal opportunities employer and offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience and ability and a package which includes: stakeholder pension, private health medical insurance, training and development opportunities. Standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Please respond in writing with current CV to:
Gary Ould, Seacore Limited, Lower Quay, Gweek, Helston, Cornwall, TR12 6UD. or email to gary.ould@seacore.com

Again thanks for the responses so far. I am surprised at the relatively small amount of enquiries though.

So a bit more of the sales pitch!

When your market place is the world you can base your company anywhere. We chose an idylic waterfront location in South Cornwall. A perfect place to work from and return to.

It must be good - people who could live anywhere in the world choose to make their homes here, and that has endless benefits for their families, Seacore and our Clients.

Paul,

I'm not sure that I have the level of experience you are looking for, but both job and location sound fantastic.

Have a look at my posting under Construction H&S Manager/Advisore looking for the right move. By No Soft Touch.

CV available on request.

Cheers,

Mark.
