Posted By Stephen Woods The broom is in place (some what uncomfortable) and I have been asked to wear thick wooly socks so I can dust the skirtings as I walk around the office. The directors have commisioned a hat fitted with a feather duster so I can dust the light fittings at the same time.
True story: As I was recieving my induction on my first day at the company, the Director carrying out the induction did mention the fact that she thought the milage allowance was ridiculously high. Standard 40ppm first 10,000 the amount allowed by the taxman.
She said that other employees get their petrol paid for at the combined milage rate for the vehicle, so I should accept the same.
They have company cars.
I'm begining to wonder why I'm still here.
