However, its continuous improvement principle requires that it keeps raising its HSE performance even further, so is looking to enhance its HSE management team at top level through the above appointment. Reporting to the Manager HSEQS, you will have responsibility for continued development of an integrated approach to HSE throughout all elements of design through to commissioning. A key task will be to further raise the HSE profile in all aspects of the organization. You will be expected to provide support, advice and guidance at all levels from management to workforce. You will have direct influence at Board level through membership of the HSES committee. You must have extensive background as an HSE professional preferably gained with Engineering Construction industry, coupled with strong communication and influencing skills and demonstrate a track record of delivering HSE programmes to meet the highest expectation levels. Applicants are expected to hold relevant professional qualifications and be a corporate member of IOSH preferably with RSP status. Specific tasks will include: • Co-ordination of HSE proposal input from discipline specialists • Monitoring and Assessment of Company HSE performance, identifying specific trends • Compilation of Annual HSE performance reports • Management of HSE website & communications/campaigns • Development & Provision of HSE training for Management personnel • Support of the HSE Management System for continuing alignment with applicable legislation and ‘best industry practice’ Foster Wheeler recognises and rewards talent, this is reflected in our salary and benefits packages.
