hello
I am a student at bournemouth university studying Safety, Health and environment (year 2).
The course is three years long with no year out on placement, although it does ask for a placement during the summer. Would you been interested in this?

Daniel, Jenny,
Many thanks for the comments and questions. I have emailed you both seperately.
(For information, we are looking to place for a complete year due to the nature of projects the candidate would be involved in.)

Just thought I'd say that I'm staggered at the amount of people who advertise on this site for placements and yet this opportunity to work for such a company is still being advertised.
Do RR have an ultra strict selection process for placement students or is there simply no interest?

I do not think that there is no interest in placements generally, and i don't want to pick out this placement in particular, but the location of a placement has a great bearing on whether people want to or are able to take on positions. Also by this time of year most people have either decided not to take a placement or have already found a place. I have seen placements that have had deadlines of last november: by this time of year very few people are still looking for work for the next financial year. It's a pity though, as it looks a very interesting place to be.
