Obviously, as with most positions, whatever the discipline, prospective employers look for experience and hence my advice would be to try and complete the Diploma whilst engaged as a H&S Officer or similar (having already successfully completed the Cert) which will then give you the appropriate experience. There are, however, a few positions available where they do not require as much experience but the salary generally reflects this. Hope this helps Steve
