I have not heard in any other forum of this new service, which i feel may open up career oportunities. Posted By Robert K Lewis Around this time last year the HSE were advertising for a management company to run the funding provision for this but I have not heard much about it since although I believe some are operating in high risk industries such as construction. If you look in your searches for "roving safety representatives" you may also score some hits. As a new career I am not totally confident as to what is truly happening with these people - I actually think it will become a means for cheap safety provision and I am more than a tad annoyed that the HSE chose to use the title they did as implies significant competency but the training requirements demonstrate such competency is not present.
