I manage a small team of self employed H&S consultants who work in an associate capacity carrying out insurance surveys for a large insurance company.

These surveys mainly focus on health and safety management for employer's liability insurance purposes but public liability and product liability issues are also included.

In order to deliver against an increased workload I am now looking to engage the services of an existing suitably qualified/competent freelance consultant who is living and able to travel within the North East of England at a fixed survey fee rate.

The successful individual will be experienced at auditing health and safety management systems to either OHSAS18001 or HSG65 standards and be an effective time manager, communicator and report writer.

The successful person would be working as a sub contractor to my company and not the insurance company. However, client confidentiality and professional integrity would be applicable to both organisations.

Professional Indemnity (£1,000,000) and Public Liability (£1,000,000) insurance cover is mandatory.

If there is anyone out there interested in finding out more then please send your CV with full contact details to:

pcrayth@aol.com

Regards,

Paul Craythorne

Dear All,

Thank you to those that have applied so far but I have to stress that the person must be self employed and living in the North East of England (e.g. Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool and surrounding areas).

Applications from those living in other parts of the country (not within reasonable commuting distance of the above) and from those in an employed capacity are not suitable.

Please note that this is an associate consultant role and not an employed role.

Regards,

Paul Craythorne
