Hello,

My company is looking for a H&S Advisor from a construction background, with at least 2 yrs post qualification experience (NEBOSH Cert min) possibly working towards MIOSH.This is an opportunity for an individual who has gained some H&S management experience and is still within the initiall stages of their career. The position will be home based providing advice and support to a field based team of upto 6 regional managers. You will be required to work on your own initiative in order to ensure all risks posed to the business by the employment of sub-contract labour are minimised as far as possible. You should have some understanding of the working processes involved with most on-site activities, ranging from asbestos removal, electrical re-wire through to window installation. You will be required to carry out training to sub-contractors on a wide range of H&S topices, provide presentations to regional managers / main board directors. You should also have some experience of the management processes involved in working with asbestos. (possibly P405 qualified). This position attracts competetive monthly salary (circa £20,000), fully expensed company car, 24 days holiday, pension scheme (after qualifying period), lunch allowance, yearly bonus (after qualifying period) & also the addional benefits of working for a large multi-national organisation.
