Posted By Steve Granger I have a vacancy for the 2nd person of a job share scheme for a H&S Adviser. Having seen a number of threads on the IOSH website this job may be appealing to someone looking for a career change or semi retirement. This may also be of interest to those who are looking towards continuing their qualifications - but cannot find a position due to lack of experience. The position is fixed to afternoons in order to synchronise with the existing morning cover, although the position is subject to the flexitime scheme within this period. The position is for a fixed term initially for trial purposes, the intention is more longer term (or a repeat of the process should the person become qualified and wish to move on). If anyone would like to discuss this further please call for an informal chat about the job or conditions of work. A full job description and application forms will soon be available on the councils internet site http://www.chichester.gov.uk/. Steve Granger Facilities and Safety Manager Chichester District Council East Pallant House Chichester West Sussex PO19 1TY 01243 534605
