Posted By AlanPB Colin, Two years ago I was looking to make the move, and was all set to study for a Masters degree in Occ. H&S in Sydney, Australia. Needless to say I did my research, and looked at what jobs were out there. The best resource I came accross was a small forum of Australian H&S Professionals. Over the past year this forum has grown considerably and is now well worh gettin into. Sign into it, ask the question, get to know people on the board and I'm sure a number of them will either give you very sound advice, or even offer you some kind of work. Many jobs are advertised on the following two job websites: www.seek.com.au www.mycareer.com.au On these sites if you search under the category of HR & Recruitment, and then sub-category OH&S you will find a lot of OHS positions. You can also try a keyword search for "safety" to broaden your search. These ads will give you an idea of what's around and also the names of some recruitment agencies which you could approach directly. Good luck with your job hunt! Andrew

My best advice to find a position in Australia is to join up with www.seek.com.au and this is a job search website but they are extremely popular and have alot of OHS positions posted. You can go through the job preferances to find OHS feilds so that you are only sent jobs that are related to OHS. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you. p.s. I am looking to work in England in 6-18 months. Have you got any tips for me?
