After taking a gap year from employment for study and to work in the community, I am looking to return to work in a Safety, Health and Environment (or similar) post.
I hold two years of full time experience in H&S - around three months (temporary contract) within a high-risk debt collection agency based in Preston, and a further 21 months or so within a Recruitment Agency based in Wigan, with offices in Liverpool, Preston, Manchester and Southport.
I have a sound knowledge of implementing H&S and Enviroment Management Systems, conducting training courses, accident/incident investigation, 9001, 14001 and 18001 standard implementation and management, providing consulatation an auditing to a diverse range of industries (including care, construction, manufacturing, driving and warehousing), as well as risk assesment and management, workforce consultation, and culture development.
I have completed the NEBOSH NGC, results due in September (expecting credit or distinction), and planning to progress onto the NEBOSH Level 4 diploma and the NEBOSH Environmental Management Diploma in September.
I also hold experience of business management and human resources, having completed the Certificate in Management, and hold membership of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
I am looking for placement ideally in the north-west, but would consider relocation with the right company.
