I am looking for a change of direction in my career. Having gained the NEBOSH General Certificate in1994 and BSC Diploma in 1996, I worked in London as Safety Manager in a merchant bank. Having left in 98, I set up my own consultancy, only for one of my clients to offer me a role of safety, quality and facilities manager in a manufacturing company.
I have safety on track for OHSAS18001 which I am working on at present, but now I find my role is pushed more to quality as we are ISO9001 registered, but focus on safety is left to me. Same old story of management not wanting responsibility, and it is doing my head in.
I am looking for a safety manager role in a management-committed company in the Northamptonshire area, and getting rid of all my 'hats'.
Can someone save me from my stress and get me back on the road to normality in a safety only role.
Many thanks
