Posted By David J Cross I am presently a QHSE Manager who faces redundancy, due to the 99% likely closure of our plant. I have been in this position for 3 1/2 years, and seek to move on before the inevitable happens. Qualifications include NEBOSH General Cert, HNC Quality Assurance, IRCA Lead Auditor, NVQ Level 4 Management, and a wide experience of Glass Manufacturing , Electronics, Transport/ Haulage, Chemical Labs, Overseas suppilers, Sister plants in US to ISO 9001 2000 requirements. I also devised, planned and implemented the full ISO 9001 accredited system within my present employer- thus I would class myself as very experienced in this area. I also have experience from the safety side covering such requirements as, COSHH, Noise at work, Risk Assessments, Manual Handliing, Fire Risk Assessments, Workplace Inspections, and devised, planned, and implemented all the processes, procedures, and documentation to meet HSE Requirements. I also have experience of presenting my findings and dealing with the following: Company owners, Company Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, Plant Managers etc all the way down to Production Line Supervisors. I have also dealt with HSE Auditors/ Inspectors, BSI Auditors, Insurance Inspectors, Fire Brigade Inspectors, Loss Adjusters etc, so again I would class myself as pretty experienced in most H&S issues. A full CV is available on request to anyone who may have an opportunity which they feel matches my skills and experience. Regards, David

Posted By David J Cross Sorry, I should have posted that in the 1st communication. I live just outside Glasgow, so preferably in this area (Central Scotlabnd), although as travel is part of my job at present, I am well prepared to travel around if this is required. Regards, David
