Hie, I am a nebosh cert qualified Safety Management Coordinator and am investigating avenues to become acredited. I have been advised that a OH&S Degree or NVQ would safice in the interum, but I am not sure on what else is entailed to achieve acreditation. (Could you give it to me in idiot language please.)

Hi Kevin
This may seem like a really stupid question, but it has to answered as in respect of IOSH, the term "accredited" is normally applied to the provision of training
So, to prevent a lot of advice and suggestions being offered that aren't on target - Which body do you want to be accreditted with and for what; what do you want to do?

Kevin,
The list of qualifications accredited for IOSH membership purposes is listed in the membership section of this web-site. It includes HE courses, NVQs and QCA accredited Diplomas (NEBOSH and BSC). If you need further assistance give me a call.
Our training courses, Managing and Working Safely are delivered by licensed providers they are not accredited in the same ways as those for membership. But as Frank says you should clarify exactly what it is you want as the two do get confused.
