Posted By Adrian boyd I wish to further my education with the view to getting a better position within the health and safety sector, However I am not sure which qualification future employers would prefer. I am currently working as a health & safety advisor for a small company and I am considering the NVQ level 4 course but would future employers prefer the NEBOSH diploma 4 course? Can anyone help?

Posted By ITK Adrain, Its impossible to say which qualification employers will prefer, some may prefer NEBOSH some may prefer NVQ. What will hopefully happen when the Chartered Member status comes into effect is that employers will start to look for CMIOSH rather than just the tyope of qualification you have. For the record I did NEBOSH/University qualifications.
