May I suggest that you make a financially costed case to the charity for the assistance you seek, identify the role, responsibility and level of qualification. As you seem to suggest you are prepared to train the person in this role, cost of training should be included in costing, depending on location salary around 15k seem reasonable if coupled to training provision. ie. NVQ, National Diploma. Armed with the above, approach the charity before budgets are cast in concrete and hope your needs are given higher priority than others. Hope this helps a little. Paul.
