Posted By Robin I have fourteen years experience in safety management, as a safety officer, advisor, instructor and safety engineer. During the last three years I have been employed on a contract basis undertaking training and instruction in safety management. I have also been heavily involved in advising on implementing of the company’s safety management systems on board FPSO/FSO unit’s world wide. I am a qualified Safety and Risk Manager holding the British Safety Councils diploma in safety management since 1991/2 and I am a member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Managers (IIRSM). I am presently employed as a Safety Engineer in for a world leading FPSO / FSO operator in the South of France in Monaco. The principal tasks I am involved in are; undertaking reviews, gap analysis, evaluating Accident statistics, Monthly Accident/Incident statistics reports, Auditing Procedures, writing Codes of Practice, amending Management System training presentations, interviewing, reviewing PTW system, monthly safety Statistics reports, reviewing offshore Hot work procedures for compliance with the Management system and updating data bases.
