Posted By Andrew Cook I am an Australian health, safety and environment professional seeking employment opportunities in the UK or Europe, looking to start a new position in January 2006. I have over 5 years' experience in HSE, the majority of this time as an internal consultant at a large Australian university, and prior to this, one year as a consultant completing occupational hygiene tasks. I have skills and experience in workplace inspection, risk assessment, development and delivery of safety training, auditing, writing of policies and procedures, and provision of advice to health and safety committees and management. Other skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and intermediate Spanish language skills (I recently spent a year working in Costa Rica). My qualifications are a Master of Applied Science (Applied Toxicology), Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. I may be optimistic but I'm hoping to secure a position prior to travelling to the UK/Europe. I am eligible for a UK Ancestry Visa. My CV is available upon request.
