Posted By Alan J Pick whilst looking at the job details section of positions available,one thing that i am unsure of is where it states NEBOSH Dip or equivalent. what is the equivalent being referred to as i have only a general cert. at present

Posted By Robert Paterson Don't despair though some vacancies look for NEBOSH certificate. I think, but not sure, doesn't NVQ4 or NVQ5 get classed as equivalant to diploma? Regards Robert Paterson

Posted By Jonathan Breeze Alan, It's all explained in the following link on this site: http://www.iosh.co.uk/in...cfm?go=membership.grades Basically there are several accredited diplomas as well as the NVQ 4 which can allow you to apply for this level (subject to jumping through a few hoops).
