The post involves a wide and interesting variety of work, providing advice, training and guidance to field, boat, laboratory and office-based staff. A proactive and positive approach to health and safety management is essential. Occupational hygiene, occupational health or ergonomics qualifications and experience would be an advantage. The preferred locations are Aberdeen or Dingwall, however there is flexibility within the North of Scotland. Does anyone else in the public sector (or even you well-paid bods in the private sector...) have any comments on salary ranges for advisor level posts, as the salary range seems comparable with similar posts advertised elsewhere. Posted By gham I have 4 years experience but qualify in june, it's a Univ PgDipOHSM, I'm not an IOSH Member yet I have an HND in Applied BioScience and BSc in Biochem, I don't think that this position would even appeal to me purely on the basis of the salary and I am not fully safety qualified G'
