Posted By Chris McT Hi, my current employer is a major insurer (sorry but I have been asked me not to announce the name before as we have previously been inundated by calls from agencies after advertising vacancies!!) and we are currently looking to take on a Health and Safety manager to cover the UK and increasingly European operations too. Unfortunately I don't have the time served to go for the position myself - we really need someone with upwards of 10 years and ideally a background in consulting - but I was wondering if anyone might potentially be interested? As well as managing and developing the UK health and safety team (and network of associates that we use) the job will involve management of an innovative H+S product within employer liability, including promoting the product and assessing policyholders. Whoever gets the job will also take over our Major Accidents investigations service. We also work quite closely with our Environmental division, so a background knowledge of associated environmental issues would probably be helpful.
