Posted By Carl Anstee Hi We require a health and safety professional to join our central health and safety team. You will be experienced in providing practical health and safety guidance and advice to a range of business sectors within the group with a particular emphasis on CDM issues. Your advice service on CDM matters will require you to, update and maintain the Company CDM Management system and prepare any additional CDM procedures as necessary and/or required due to changes in legislation. Carry out training of planning supervisors and maintain the schedule of authorised planning supervisors, including the regular auditing of those carrying out the role. Your general health and safety role will require you to undertake formal health and safety monitoring and inspection, investigate and provide information and reports relating to reportable H&S incidents, as well as the ability to hold open H&S surgeries and respond to queries. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent is essential for this role, together with experience of H&S duties and sound knowledge of CDM Regs/Projects. Membership of IOSH and APS would be desirable as would NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
