Posted By Allan Kerrigan As a recent (may 05) nvq holder I would recomend the nvq route, but you will need to have a good provider, or it will become hard work. The art of an nvq is the cross referancing of evidence and ensuring that the evidence in your folder has been passed, there are some providers who have a very good system of assessing the evidence and passing it before it is entered into your folder. this saves hours of work, and is the route that i took to my nvq sucess. The diploma has now gone modular and may be close option, it can also be obtained by a concentrated course from some well advertised providers. as a holder of 3 nvq's i must say that occupation health and safety was the easiest to admininster and compile.
