i have hons degree in health and safety from an Irish University. i got a job upon graduation at €25000 per annum.(20k) i had to get a car, insure and tax it. i am looking for a salary increase to account of the above expenses. this is not great money as i am in Dublin. Colleagues of mine are getting from 27 to 35 k including fuel cards and even company cars.
Does anyone know what should i be hoping to get?

Hi there,
From my undestanding of the Dublin job market, I would say e25k is about right. For a graduate you would normally expect you salary to rise by 10 - 15% pa so in pounds this would approximate to

start £20k
y2 £22K - 23k
y3 £25k - 26.5k
y4 £27.5k - 30.5k
