Posted By steve dowse Hi, i passed my nebosh gen cert last year and was wondering can i join iosh? i have worked within construction for most of my life but not directly with health and safety.also what other courses would be useful for me to progress within this industry? cant do college full time days due to mortgage etc. also how do i become a tech iosh? or what would i need to do to achieve this? thanks for any help info regarding this. steve

Posted By Hazel Harvey Steve, Yes you can join IOSH, with a recent level 3 certificate (After Decemeber 2002) and 5 years in a role in health and safety (not necessarily full-time)in the Techncian Member (TechIOSH) category. If you can't yet demonstrate the experience the Affiliate category is available until you can. Have a look in 'about membership' in the mune on the left of this page.
