Posted By Sonia Thomas Good Afternoon All I am looking to move into health and safety on a permanent basis and would welcome some advise on the way forward. I am currently employed as a quantity surveyor(QS)and planning supervisor with 16yrs experience as QS and want to stay in construction. I have the NEBOSH certificate, am studying construction certificate and studied to diploma 1 level but did not sit the exam. Also what do people think of the SAFEcontractor scheme by the National Brittania Group as a way in to H&S as I have applied for a position with them. If you have any tips or know of any positions available please get in touch. regards Sonia

Posted By Becks Hi Sonia, Seems like you know which direction you want to go already. I think the construction industry will be crying out for safety advisors as the regulations are going to get tighter for them and more HSE reviews. Good luck Becks
