Posted By Steve Rhodes Not sure how many people we have in Yorkshire as members but if there is anyone with good health & safety experience who wants some work I may be able to help. Knowledge of food and hospitality sectors or social hoousing sector would be an advantage. I need rather more than jobsworth health & safety officer or an EHO with enforcement experience but someone who can work in a practical manner in developing people and systems with some of our clients. We have good relations with a number of longstanding clients and the person would need to be able to fit in with this. We provide very much a pragmatic, hand holding approach working with client needs rather than just rolling out the traditional paperwork. We still do the paperwork, policies, risk assessments etc and also a growing amount of training but response to client need is the key bit. If anyone thinks they fit the bill perhaps they could contact me Steve Rhodes

Posted By Nicci Harper Hi Steve This is the 1st time I have used the forum. I was made redundundant in Jan 06 & still have a very active interest in Health & Safety. I have a strong belief in the "hand holding approach" and an equally strong belief in involving all relevant personnel in the method statement / risk assessment process. I would love the opportunity to continue in my chosen field. Looking forward to hearing from you. Nicci harper
